Missing information

I waste/spend time adding bits and pieces to Wikipedia when I've got spare time/want to take time out from what I'm supposed to be doing. I was horrified to realise how much I'd forgotten about John Wyndham's short stories (mind you, it's about 25 years ago since I last read many of them!).

On the other hand, I'm curious about finding out things I took for granted when I was young. What is that bit of outdoor streetscene SFX in the middle of Supertramp's 'Rudy', for instance, all about? It's that moment where you can hear a string quartet busking the first movement of Eine kleine Nachtmusik, making the sudden reappearance of Supertramp's song sound all the more desolate.
